Asteroids
I can't join a new forum without eulogising over what must be my favourite old arcade game - Asteroids. So beautiful, such simple but well balanced gameplay. So very, very satisfying. And so much better than Asteroids Deluxe (IMHO). Love it to bits. And I also have one, sitting right behind me, the game board and monitor repaired with my own fair hands. Lubberly. :D

How about an original Tempest cabinet. Cab looks lovely, game looks great and plays even better. I wish I had one.

Never been that thrilled with tempest myself, now Juno First - theres a cab i'd have, dunno why just brings back memories :)

I feel like I missed out - it was the late 80's before I got the chance to play a real Asteroids cab :(

My mum used to work in a pub as a cleaner before the pub opened, and everyday either before school or during the school holidays I would go with her and spend ages just playing asteroids :) Ohhh the good old days :)

I'll always have fond memories of the time when one of my local arcades got its first Asteroids cab - even though I was cack at the game at first I loved it and now nearly 30 years later I still love it. :D
