Jeff Minters new 360 live shooter ??
Just wondered if there's a demo yet on XBox live and has anybody played it ?? Seeing as my sodding machine is away at the fixers . . . :evil: GRRRRRRRR . . . . :(

Are you talking about Space giraffe? If so, it's been out a few weeks and has caused controversy with regard to its gameplay. Some people get it, while others don't. Apparently it's not the easiest game to play due to the background visuals obscuring some of the action.

I really like it. Then again I like Tempest 2000 and 3000.

Tempest 2000 (and Tempest X3) is ACE.

Although SPace Giraffe looks like Tempest (and plays quite like it too), it's the waiting till the bad guys get to the top of the web while keeping your power area thing going, then ramming them off instead of shooting that probably confuses most people. I still need to put more time into it, especially as I still haven't really figured out how to use the flowers to keep my power bar type thing going. If you add "gundarN" to you friends list, you can laugh at my puny score(s).

Yes, the Typhoon Tempest remake is really good. Works nice with my USB PS2 adaptor in analogue as well . . . . . .can't work out if it's any easier than Tempest X3 or 2000 cos it's one of the few games I seem to be any good at :P
