May be offline for a few days
I received some tragic news on friday regarding my best friend. so I may take a few days away from the internet until after the funeral, please read the posting below... Its a very sad time for me at the moment, one of my best friends I've ever had has passed away aged only 36. For as long as I known him he had suffered from heart problems, and finally after years and years of waiting he had the chance for a heart transplant, and he took the opportunity with eyes wide open. He knew the dangers, he knew the possible complications involved, he knew the risks, but he also knew that this transplant would be a chance for a new life for him. Sadly it wasnt to be, the operation was successful but 4 times in the first week he had to be re-opened, blood clots, leaks and other problems dogged him over his last 4 weeks of life. And on wednesday the 29th of august (which was also his birthday) his body gave up the fight.His funeral is this wednesday 5th september and will be probably one of my most emotional days this year (and of my life so far). I will never forget him, he was my friend, he was probably my best friend, he was best man at my wedding and he had a heart of gold, farewell my friend, you will be missed Mark Born August 29th 1971 - Died August 29th 2007 :(
