Your own personal time machine back to the 80s arcade
Hey guys, seriously, you've gotta check this out . . . . . .http://arcade.hofle.com/ This is my lucky day cos I've been looking for something like this for years and somebody's actually read my mind and made it reality. There, I died and went to heaven . . .finally :!:  :D

If you like that then you really should have 3darcade setup on your pc - theres remakes of classic cabs all in 3d and you can walk around 3d arcades full of retro cabs, press button 1 and the game launches from mame :D

Right . . .googled it and found it. How come, as a MAME freak, I never spotted this before ? Virtual arcades ?? Ambient arcade backgrounds?? . . .what am I in - a parallel universe :P

Well, I've been mucking about with 3D Arcade front end but it's a bugger to set up . . .anybody know the basics for getting it up and running properly ?? I'm normally okay with most emus and front ends but this bugger seems overly complex ta me . . . :?

Blimey . . .wot ain't I stuck with :? First off, I can't find the option for pointing the front-end to my mame roms and shit. Secondly, how do you set up all these skins and virtual arcades. Maybe i was just tired when i tried to config the bloody thing . . .

U need to run the config file for setting up your emus. Its called 3darcade config.bat - have a look through that and see how you get on ok :)
